November Update
Update for the November 2021 period, including latest regarding event cancellations.
No DBHS meeting was held in November. It would have been a Willow Workshop with our good friend Rob Eves but it would have been impossible to have had a practical meeting the way restrictions are just now. Rob has been rebooked for June next year. I am putting a Syllabus together for 2022 and most speakers have been good enough to carry forward their presentations to 2022. The DBHS Annual General Meeting is to be held on Friday 3rd December 2021. All papers will be circulated by email as we did last year, which was successful. Paper copies will go to those members without email.
Wahey!! DBHS meetings will start up again in January 2022. I attended an induction for returning to meetings at Dalgety Bay Community Centre. The number we are allowed remains at 30. There will be a one-way system for entry and exit. Teas and coffees will be made available with one person serving. No biscuits can be provided unless they are wrapped, so bring a penguin with you and one for me. I think it is maybe too complicated to restart the raffle but never say never. Because numbers are still restricted, we will probably have to take bookings so watch out for instructions in the next Grapevine.
