December Update

Update for the December 2021 period, including details of the first event in January 2022.

The DBHS Annual General Meeting was held by email on December 3rd 2021. All business was successfully concluded, and we have a full Committee for 2022.

DBHS will have its’ first meeting for almost two years on Friday evening, 7th January 2022, when Arthur Lloyd from Aberdour will talk about the Coastal Walk from England to Scotland. The meeting starts at 7:30pm. If you want to go you should register your intention of attending the meeting by phoning me on 01383823425 or 07790182847 or emailing me at [email protected] beforehand. You will be asked to sign in, there is a separate entrance and exit, there is hand sanitiser requirements, there is one metre distancing of seating although when you register you will say if you are a couple or not and two seats can be made available together. There is wearing of masks until seated, there will be teas and coffees. One person, wearing gloves, will be responsible for preparing the hot water flasks and serving. There will be no biscuits, unless you bring your own wrapped ones (and one for me!!). I have prepared a risk assessment for having a raffle and this has been sent to Fife Council. The raffle tickets are £1 per strip so bring the right money for that as no change can be offered. The main thing is we are actually having an in person meeting.

The “Jobs for” December part of the DBHS report is on the tips page to see what jobs you should be doing at this time of year.

Sincerely,

Michael Gourlay

Chairman
